The Story
Follow Lev, an undead soldier, as he quests for a cure to his condition, facing the disturbing possibility that it may be beyond reach.
My work
I was deeply engaged in the UI/UX process from very early on. I started designing the dialogue boxes, as storytelling is central to the game. For the initial style frames, I took the background and character art and added simple design elements to it. Simultaneously, I crafted the user experience for the game's interface. I used flow charts and interactive prototypes to communicate my vision.
I tailored diverse dialogue screens to suit the scene requirements, while also overseeing the design of the main menu, pause screen, loading screen, and settings. Additionally, I enriched the user experience with animated icons that intuitively guide players through the game.

Refining the Process
Designing the UI/UX for The Artificial Deity was an enjoyable and detailed task. When I joined, the narrative for the complex visual novel was complete, and the anime style was set, allowing me to dive straight into the design. Working closely with Art Director Hazel Jankowski, I fine-tuned the screens to align with the artwork. During the final stages, I discovered that many UI elements required pixel-perfect placement to fit perfectly in the game, so I organized an effective session with our Unity developer to make the necessary adjustments. I also added looped animations to give buttons and indicators a more playful feel.
Looking back, I would have integrated earlier drafts into the game to refine the Figma designs with greater precision. While the outcome closely matched my vision, I would streamline the process for more congruence between my drafts and the game’s final look.
